Beginner (Group Lessons)
This level is perfect for kids ages 5 and up. We focus on water safety (what to do if they fall in alone), comfort, and skills that will be the basis for everything else done in the water. Beginner techniques with arms, legs, and breathing are shown on both the front and back. Final goals include jumping in the deep end and getting to safety without assistance, and swimming across the pool independently with rollover breathing.
- Beginner I- for brand new kids, first timers
- Beginner II- for kids who can already swim 20ft, get a breath and back float with assistance.
- Beginner III- for kids who can already swim 40ft, get a breath by themselves, can do ‘windmill’ arms, and backfloat with little or no assistance.
