Welcome To Open Water Adventures SCUBA Diving Training

Open Water Adventures is unique in our philosophy, we believe that a well trained diver is a happy diver who is likely to embrace the sport and continue a lifetime of learning and adventure. Our repetitive training program, which has been developed over more than 22 years of teaching SCUBA, is designed to introduce the skills and specialized gear to you in a step by step building process to turn you into a comfortable and confident diver.

Our instructors are dedicated professionals who understand that all students do not think, learn, or move at the same pace. They are all patient and understanding of each individuals needs.

Group class are designed to accommodate only 8 divers so that each student receives the most personalized attention needed. We choose a quality relationship that allows us all to get to know each other and therefore deliver the best education possible. Private training is a specialty of ours. We understand the complex schedule of todays professionals and parents. We offer a flexible solution for one-on-one, couples, and small and large groups.

Visit our facility for a personal orientation; purchase your educational materials and select your personal snorkeling system.
Receive your Academic Kit, which includes a simple 6 chapter manual, DVD, dive tables, and Deluxe Dive Log.
During your training at O.W.A. you will learn and have a lot of fun! We believe you should know as much as we do, so that you will be confident, comfortable, and safe…This will allow you to maximize your FUN potential!

Choose a Scuba program schedule that includes all academic and equipment reviews as well as unlimited “confined water” in our indoor heated pool. We offer private, semi-private, and group lessons year round. We can work together to find a schedule that is best for you and your lifestyle.

That’s right, save the best for last… Let’s Go Diving! The third step of this fantastic adventure is the most exciting of all. Now you get to choose which “open water” location will best satisfy your urge to submerge. In order to graduate and receive your Open Water Certification, you must complete 5 Open Water Dives with an instructor. The open water program includes 5 dives at a location of your choice. We offer the following 3 options:

  • Local Open Water offered May-October
  • “Vacation Style” open water on one of our custom designed dive travel packages.
  • Universal Referral- you choose a destination anywhere in the world.
