Open Water Adventures is Charlotte's Underwater Photography Expert. Our staff has 30 years of underwater photography experience. We can help you find a camera system that is right for you, and we can teach you the art of underwater photography in our indoor heated training pool.

OWA sells point and shoot and advanced SLR systems. You will definitely want lighting for your system, and we have you covered there as well. We have strobes and video lights to build a total photo system.

We offer a point and shoot Digital Photography Course, and we have a more robust course for those that want to embark on the SLR Adventure! In your UW Photo Course you will learn how to optimize your camera and your buoyancy!

You will learn about shooting, lighting, transferring,  cataloging, editing, sharing, and archiving your images.
