The legend, the myth, is that Nitrox is a DEEP mix for technical or extreme diving! The TRUTH, it is most effective for extending dive times for the recreational sport diver in 30-80 feet. It can significantly extend dive times as well as shorten surface intervals. Simply Nitrox is just adding O2 to the normal air we fill and thereby reduce the Nitrogen content you breath, thus reducing Nitrogen Absorbtion and extending your No-Deco Limit Times.
