Many of the travelers met early at CLT for football and beverages. The party started early, and continued until the lights went out on the redeye flight from Newark. After an evening at Don Pepe's in NJ enjoying the company of all and the great food and OH, Sangria too. After a goodnights rest on the Continental flight, we arrived in Bonaire...Hotel ready for early checkin and rental trucks,mostly new, awaiting us we are off. A quick orientation, and we are in the water by 10:30 am. The tropicals great you at the shore, eels are spotted in 2' of water, anemones are everywhere, a little deeper oh say 35' the giant tube sponges reach 10' or more tall. Finish this first dive after seeing an octopus, scorpion fish, and all your favorites, to return to shore under a 4 Tarpon escort! After the required midday nap and a great lunch with many friends, the hardest decision is which dive site is next, we only have 64 marked shore access havens to choose from.
